This Privacy Policy explains how ParshCaption AI ("ParshCaption", "we", "us"), a product of ParshWebCraft, collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and application.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Content you upload: video files, and the transcripts and captions generated from them.
• Usage data: minutes transcribed, projects created, and plan/subscription status.
• Contact form submissions: name, email, company and message content.

Uploaded content ownership

You retain full ownership of every video you upload and every caption you create. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content, and we do not use it to train third-party models beyond what is strictly necessary to generate the transcript and captions you requested.

Third-party processing

To generate transcripts and intelligent caption breaks, uploaded audio and transcript text may be processed by third-party AI providers, including AssemblyAI (speech-to-text) and xAI/Grok (caption intelligence). These providers process your content solely to return results back to ParshCaption and are bound by their own data processing terms.

Payment data

During the current beta, all billing runs in Demo Payment Mode — no card details are collected and no real charges are made. When live payments are enabled, payment processing will be handled by Razorpay; ParshCaption does not store your card or bank details directly.

Data retention

Projects, transcripts, captions and rendered exports are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete a project at any time, which removes its associated video, transcript and caption data.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us through the contact page.
