Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ParshCaption AI, operated by ParshWebCraft. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use ParshCaption.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of all video content, transcripts, and captions you create. By uploading content, you grant ParshCaption a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the transcription, captioning and export features you request.

Processing requirements

Transcription and caption intelligence require your uploaded audio/video and transcript text to be sent to third-party AI providers (AssemblyAI, xAI/Grok) for processing. You agree that this transfer is a necessary part of the service.

Usage limits

Each plan includes a monthly transcription-minute allowance. Usage resets each billing period and does not roll over. We reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend accounts engaged in abusive or automated usage that circumvents these limits.

Beta / demo payment mode

During the current beta period, billing operates in Demo Payment Mode. No real charges are processed, and subscription upgrades made through the demo checkout are simulated for evaluation purposes only.

Acceptable use

You may not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to process. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.

Service availability

ParshCaption is provided on an "as-is" basis during the MVP/beta phase. Features, limits and pricing may change as the product evolves.
